He said...First 3-D ad in this year's Super Bowl XLIII

Yeap. Title says it all - look for the first ever 3-D Super Bowl ad to come at halftime Feb 1st. Generally, advertisers try to hog up all the spotlight during the commercials they pay millions for, but this year, PepsiCo's SoBe LifeWater and DreamWorks Animation are in cahoots to produce their first ever 3-D ad featuring the SoBe dancing lizards that were in last year's Super Bowl.

Because there is more than one advertiser, you'll also get treated a multi-brand experience that includes a trailer for DreamWorks' upcoming animation "Monsters vs. Aliens", as well as some affiliates, like Intel, whose technology helped to develop the 3-D commercial.

So where do you get your greedy lil mitts on some 3-D glasses? PepsiCo has graciously pumped out 125 million of the glasses, available at retail locations where SoBe LifeWater is sold - look for the SoBe displays that will have the glasses up for grabs, and of course, they will be free. 

Aawww... did you get there to find only dust and cobwebs? Never fear!

Viewers will be reminded not to "chuck" their 3-D glasses out, as they can be reused for a special episode of "Chuck" airing on NBC the next day, Feb 2nd. - It will also feature a cameo appearance by NBC analyst and Super Bowl champ Jerome Bettis.
